The Water Margin was a 1977 mini-series based set in the period of the Sung Dynasty in 9th or 10th century China. It featured 900 heroes who fought to right the corruption in their lands, and they hid in the water margins around Liang Chan Po. The Water Margin was an excellent dubbed-japanese show starring Lin Chung, Lu Ta and literally hundreds of others!

    I remember the Water Margin being a bit gory, but great. Still remember the theme tune note for note.
