Heroes in a half shell, Turtle Power.

In the UK, this was renamed to HERO turtles, whereas in every other country on earth it was NINJA turtles.

It featured Leonardo, Donatello, Raphaelle and Michaelangelo as four turtles who fell into the sewer, got dunked in some toxic waste, raised by a rat (Splinter) and all grew into intelligent beings.

They had to fight various battles with Shredder, and his two sidekicks Beebop and Rocksteady, while the news reporter, April O'Neil, followed them around.

    One of my all time favourite childhood shows. I used to play turtles with my friends,but with no weapons. I had the movie on video and that was just as good as the cartoon. Bebop and Rocksteady used to make me laugh.

    Me and my brother used to watch it every morning before school. I used to think Cran was really mean to Shredder, but he deserved it cos he tried to hurt the turtles. We used to find michaelangelo soo funny!
