Screen Test

Screen Test was a film quiz based panel game in the early/mid 1970s for children presented by the Tomorrow's World presenter Michael Rodd. There were 4 panelists and the contestants had to watch a series of film clips and answer observational questions about them.

There was always a Disney cartoon and always a lame drama from the Children's Film Foundation. Apart from on Screen Test, I have NEVER seen a film by the CFF anywhere else. Phew.

Screen Test also ran an annual competition for young film makers and animators. Many of today's film and TV professionals got their first taste of film making from this program.

My daughter was on this programme in 1979 and the video that this was recorded on has been damaged. Can anyone out there tell me where I could get a copy?
