Platform Shoes

These shoes and boots have been around for centuries and worn all over the world for a number of different purposes.

Platforms were particularly popular during the 60's & 70's worn by both male and female as a fashion item. Most Platforms were at least 4 inches high and made of many variations of materials including, wood, rubber and plastic.

Elton John was well known for wearing platforms during his stage performances in his younger years and has since actioned them off for charity.

    Platform shoes, I only had one pair and they were in a red crocadile material with straps that tied around the ankle I did like them but I was average hieght to tall when wearing them all the guys I attracted were tichy.they gave me a complex. still fab though.
