Highway To Heaven

In Highway To Heaven, Michael Landon played Jonathon, an Angel sent down on probation from Heaven. He teamed up with Mark, an ex-cop played by Victor French and together they travelled around helping people in trouble and tackling all kinds of human issues.

Highway To Heaven was in equal parts funny and sad, it was a fab show but it would probably bomb nowadays due to the lack of sex and violence.

It will always hold a place in my heart though as it was the first programme that I was allowed to stay up after 8pm to watch! (Well I was 8 years old!)

Can't remember too much about this but I know I would never miss it so I must have loved it. Michael Landon was such a great actor and I'm sure must have had many female fans!

Nauseating Christian propaganda badly disguised as "wholesome family viewing". Every episode was a variation on a theme. The same theme. "My life sucks and I've done a bunch of bad stuff, and I don't care. But hey, here comes this Jonathan bloke to show me the error of my ways. I think I'll repent now and start helping pensioners across the road and regularly attending church. Hooray for Jesus!" It was actually kind of insulting.
