This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

I remember Fine Young Cannibals best for their one song (which probably everyone else also associates them with) "She Drives Me Crazy." I recall they had a pretty neat video that showed quick shots of the lead singer Roland Gift that I thought was artfully done.

    I was really bored one day listening to the same old crap that gets churned out on the radio and it made me think back to the bands that I listened to when I was a teenager. My favourite bands were fine young cannibals and bronski beat. So I decided to take a trip down memory lane and see why I used to love fine young cannibals so much. It only took me a minute to realise why I did! I had forgotten how totally addictive the songs were and how unique Roland Gifts voice is. I have my own favourites like Johnny come home, good thing and suspicious minds but every song has a beat running through it. It's only now that I realise how talented this band is and what total and utter rubbish we are sometimes subjected to every day. I'm just glad that my teenage years were spent listening to some of the best bands there will ever be!

    I thought these guys were fab! Lead singer Roland Gift has a fantastic voice. Hits included 'Good Thing', and 'Johnny' Roland has gone on to release solo material.
