Edible Paper

Edible paper was great as a child although it had no flavor and very little texture.

It is most commonly used these days as a cake decoration to create edible images but back in the 70's & 80's it was available at the local shop along with all the penny mix-up sweets. Sometimes it was plain block colours & others would come printed in a mock pound note.
