Dangerous Liaisons (1988)

Classic adaptation of Christopher Hampton's play starring the perfectly cast Glenn Close and John Malkovich as the scheming aristos, Michelle Pfeiffer, a very young Uma Thurman and a wooden-as-ever-but-still-cute Keanu Reeves as the victims of their machinations.

Dangerous Liaisons still stands today as one of the sexiest, smartest film dramas ever made, though it's hard to watch now without thinking of the French and Saunders fan-fluttering spoof.
