Many moons ago, ( early 70s) Royal Bank of Scotland issued Cashline cards. You put it into the cashpoint, and received £10 ( always a £5 note & 5 £1 notes). The machine retained the card, which was posted back to you. I’m beginning to think I imagined it, as nobody else remembers it!
