Simon and Garfunkel

The amazing harmonies produced by the unlikely pair Tom and Jerry (also more widely known as Simon and Garfunkel) continue to be widely popular today. With unforgettable songs like "Bridge Over Troubled Water", "Cecilia", "The Boxer", and "The Sound of Silence", Simon and Garfunkel brought acoustic guitar and harmonic vocals into the limelight of popular music.

And who could forget the opening song to "The Graduate"? (Fact: the song "Mrs. Robinson" as we know it today was made only after pressure from the success of the title song from "The Graduate" became extremely popular).

The ultimate in chill-out listening - I recommend "Silent Night/ 7o'clock News". Very poignant.

I've got a three-cd set. I've played those disks so much that I've become a little tired of listening to them, but there are a few songs that I still like listening to like "Mrs.Robinson" and "Scarborough Fair", which I think is my all-time favorite song.
