Sea Wees had to be my favorite toy as a child. They came out in about '78 or so, and eventually wound up with pet counterparts a few years later. Sea Wees floated around in the water in soft sponges that were shaped like lily pads etc. The sponges had holes in them that the Sea Wee doll and her pet could 'ride' in. I still have a picture of me when I was about 5 years old with my Sea Wees!

    I had a few of these. I had the red head and the blonde then on my seventh day I got the one with pink hair that came with a baby. I still have one (minus the lily pad) and put her in my safety deposit box, which I know is kind of sad.

    Sea Wees and Weebles - did toys ever get any better than these? My little sister & I had every Sea Wee available, with the babies, pets, combs, etc. Even had the lagoon. Now I'm combing Ebay every day trying to find them for my daughters. See Wees rock!

    Actually My sister was the first one to get a See-Wee doll.She was very cute.She had a sponge base and a baby with a pet.They came out in lots of colors.My sister loved chewing on the fins.While I use to play with them in the tub until my body would wrinkle up like a prune.
