One of the absolute legends of rock-n-roll and guitar-playing, James Marshall Hendrix and the Jimi Hendrix Experience brought forth a new generation of music. It was he who showed the world that one can make a guitar wail, cry, and otherwise become alive. He was undoubtedly the most influential guitar player ever in the history of music.
