Sting

Sting's real name is Gordon Sumner and he was born on 2nd October 1951. He was the lead singer and bass player of The Police, and after they split he began a solo career releasing his first solo album in 1985.

Sting was also a successful actor in films like Quadrophenia and Dune. I'll always remember dancing to 'Walking on the Moon' with my friends. Everyone on the dance floor doing the same moves swinging their arms as if walking.

All of us fans may get a chance to relive those memories as The Police have reformed to tour throughout 2007.
