Ghostwatch

Ghostwatch was a one-off, halloween-night BBC TV show , presented by Sarah Greene, Mike Smith and Michael Parkinson. Ghostwatch was supposed to be a light-hearted investigation in to the supernatural at the 'most haunted house in britain' but things didn't turn out quite as expected.

Following a huge number of complaints the show was never shown again and the BBC promised it would never be aired again.

It scared the living daylights out of me!

This was incredibly scary at the time.I remember the story about the lodger who committed suicide and was eaten by the cats. Craig Charles was there to provide comic relief.

Yeah I saw this too. I missed the beginning so didn't realise it was made-up. When that girl started talking in a different voice that was enough for me(slept with the light on). So missed the end too, only found out it was a hoax a few days later!! (I was only 10)

Im still scared today! Unless you saw this u will have no idea just how damaging this was.... I have just about managed to start sleeping in my own bed again! lol

I remember watching that as a kid and being scared to death.Some people still thought it was real after and kept trying to phone the show.
