Love Buds

A Love Bud was a doll from the 80's that lived inside a flower. When water from the watering can was poured into the pot, the petals would slowly open, and there'd be a doll! I think this concept was taken from the tale "Thumbelina".

I remember asking Santa at my big brother's cub scout meeting for this, and I got 3 of 'em! It cemented my belief in the man right there and then. (I was a total freak about Thumbelina then...so this was right up my alley.)
