The Little and Large Show

The Little and Large Show : Little and Large were a comedy duo who first found fame on the talent show Opportunity Knocks. Their Saturday evening TV show was a sketch show where Syd Little played the straight man and Eddie Large played the fool.

In what seemed to be a blatent copy of The Morecambe and Wise Show Syd Little would attempt to sing a ballad at the end of the show and Eddie Large would always mischievously mess it up somehow.

Although the show was never particularly funny it did become extremely successful, though I can't for the life of me figure out why...

Unfortunately 25 years ago we were very small and it wasn't long before a much larger company had the exclusive rights to distribute in the UK. We are very pleased to be offering it again! Penny Crayon

Penny Crayon

Penny Crayon was a children's television series that was produced for the BBC in the United Kingdom in 1989. Penny Crayon was a schoolgirl who loved drawing. Wherever she went, she always carried her magic crayons. With these, whatever she drew came to life, whether it was a drawing on a wall or pavement, or a drawing on the inside of a whale's mouth! It usually caused trouble for her and her best friend Dennis, though... until the drawing was erased or washed away. The 12 episodes of Penny Crayon was voiced by comedienne Su Pollard of Hi-de-Hi, and Dennis was voiced by Peter Hawkins. The actual programme was made by Maddocks Animation, which was also responsible for Jimbo and the Jet Set, and The Family-Ness.
