This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

David Essex started out his musical career as a drummer before moving in to acting taking the role of Jesus in the musical "Godspell".

David was then offered the lead role in "That'll Be The Day" and from there launched his solo music career with singles "Lamplight" and "Rock On".

    'Rock on' is a classic tune and much underrated. The jury's still out on 'Tahiti' and 'A Winter's Tale' though. And don't get me started on 'Nightclubbing'!
