Remember this great series very well. The catchy theme I still remember and whistle away from time to time. Beryl was Carmel McSharry .Also with Barbara Mitchell, Tony Caunter,Mark Kingston,Robin Askwith ,Brian Capron. Queenie Watts was in it as well. - The Expert
The Expert ran from 1968 to 1976 .Marius Goring played Prof John Hardy. Also starred Ann Morrish as Hardy's wife and Victor Winding as Det Insp Fleming .A great series and one of the first to be shown in colour on BBC2.
