I remember these as standard fare in train station vending machines in the 1970s. However, I recall that they were in a blue and white wrapper, with BAR SIX in large red lettering. They were about 12p, which was quite a lot then, but well worth it as they were delicious and much more filling than the cheaper KitKat.
