Yan Yan

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Yan Yan were released in Australia in the early nineties and were originally from Japan. They came in a small round tub that had long biscuits on one side and frosting on the other. You could get different flavours of frosting such as chocolate, vanilla or strawberry. The tub was red.

We can still get these easily in the US, with the most common flavors being strawberry and chocolate. You can find it primarily in oriental grocery stores and import shops like World Market/Cost Plus. (However, they also stock it in the local Arab bakery????)
