Watch out for the Humphreys adverts

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

There was a series of ads in the early 70s for flavoured milk you could buy from your Unigate milkman. In the ads, you had to 'watch out' for the Humphreys who were red and white stripey straws who nicked your drink.

I found Humphreys fadcinating but a bit terrifying at the same time. I thik it was the bit in the ad where some 70s celeb was asleep in bed and a red and white straw pops up by his bedside table.

Ah the sheet of dodgy stickers and also the "watch out watch out there's a Humphrey about" printed mugs. Just what was it all about?!?!?!
