Tingha and Tucker

Aunty Jean and the Tingha & Tucker Club was on ATV (remember that) from 1962 till about 1970. They were two little koala bear hand puppets (ala Sooty & Sweep) and had a myriad of friends who also appeared such as Willy Wombat, Katy Kookaburra and Kiki the Kangaroo.

You could join the Tingha and Tucker Club and there was a special 'sign', which consisted of pointing your fore finger, placing it upright against your nose and nodding your head. Of course there was also a club song and a set of rules. Any former members out there?

Many fond memories. As prop maker at the studios I created 100's of varied props for the series. Quite often less than 24 hours notice to produce several items for the following day's show.

I remember this and the song that went with it. Yes I was a member of the club and I still have the signed card - sad I know.
