Timeslip

I remember a girl and a boy in a field trying to find a hole in mid-air to pass through to a different time. The one where they went through to the future and saw people cryogenically frozen was sooooo scary. At the time I was very frightened in case it happened to me. I'd love to watch it again now I'm older and see if it was as good as I remember.

Timeslip was one of my favourite tv programmes. I recently discovered that most, if not all, ofthe series are on YouTube. Fun to watch some of them again.

I loved this series as a kid. Dr. Who had been the program to open up time travel to the TV audience and other had picked up the theme with Time Tunnel, Adam Adamant, and this fantastic little mini series. It starred the lovely Cheryl Burfield. sometimes there's an actress in a TV programme who just clicks for me, and Cheryl was one of those. Great series but I watched it solely to fawn over Cheryl. I just loved everything about her. Her voice, her looks, and her mannerisms. I wish I'd seen her in more shows.

Loved this series. The fence, where they travelled through time was, if my memory serves me right, at a ministry of defence site. Also seem to remember that before the first episode, Peter Fairly, a science boff that popped up on TV from time to time, introduced the show.

I loved this as a child. The Ice-box series frightened me to death.

The acting is unimportant. What matters is that the ideas - cloning, global warming, virtual reality, the abuse of science - were years ahead of their time.

My husband recently bought the whole series on DVD, unfortunately they are all in black and white (except for one episode) although they were in colour when they were on the television. The acting was dreadful but when you were little you never realised this.
