This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

I remember this charming man coming into the charts and thinking, "this guy knows everything a teenager goes through"! Subsequent songs touched on other areas of angst for me and gradually I became hooked. As a teen I was genuinely upset when they broke up in 1987.
