Written by Jack Rosenthal (Coronation Street, Bar Mitzvah Boy, Spend Spend Spend and many others) this Granada-produced sitcom followed the exploits of the dustbinmen who pilot their dustcart nicknamed Thunderbird 3; Cheese and Egg (Bryan Pringle), Bloody Delilah (Brian Wilde), Heavy Breathing (Trevor Bannister), Eric (Tim Wylton), Smellie (John Barrett) and Manchester City fanatic Winston Platt (Graham Haberfield). Debuted in 1969 and the early episodes are available on DVD.
