The Amazing Mr Blundon

The Amazing Mr Blundon is a classic British family film directed by Lionel Jefferies in 1972.

The film is set in 1918 and is about two children Lucy and Jamie. The family are visited by a kindly old man by the name of Mr Blundon who represents a firm of solicitors who asks a widow, the mother of Jamie and Lucy to take care of a derelict property called Langly Park which is haunted!

The film stars Laurence Naismith as Mr Blundon and Diana Dors as the cruel Mrs Wickins, this is quite an enchanting film and is one of my personal favourites.

Well I remember it, it was based on the novel by Antonia Barber which is right next to me in the bookshelf as I'm typing this!! I saw the film on TV at my Gran's house when I was about 11- love to see it again though. By the way, I think it's BlundEn, rather than BlundOn.
