Anybody still remember Spectra Man, I think he was japanese. He used to wear some sort of an armor with something that looked like a dolphin's upper fin on top of his head. Spectra Man was silver at first but then went gold. He was a civilian, but turned into this flying dude to save Japan against all sorts of monsters that sort of looked like the legendary Godzilla. I still remenber the moves he used to do to power up. He used to fly like Superman but with his hands stiffed out rather than bottled up in fists.

    that was my favorite show when i was a kid......sure is funny how the POWER RANGERS are very very similiar to SPECTREMAN!!!!

    Spectra Man also know as Spectreman Created by Soji Ushio. The show was originally named after the villain of the series, but from episode twenty-one was retitled to Space Apeman Gori vs. Spectreman, and then finally to just Spectreman from episode forty. The show ran a total of sixty three episodes in total. Dr.Gori's desire to destory humanity isn't as evil as it sounds. His motivation is that he feels (rightly, lets face it) that humans are destroying the planet and its ecology, and thus don't deserve to keep ownership of a planet with such great potential.
