Scatman was also known as Scatman John I think and had a couple of illiterate hits in the mid 90's. I say illiterate as the lyrics to his main hit (I can't remember the name of it) seemed to be a collection of sounds along the lines of skee-bop-bop-bop, bop-bop-bop, etc. It was purely tongue in cheek (I hope) and got to the top 5 in the UK. Total rubbish looking back on it now.

    Ah, yes, the infamous Scatman John. I think the song he achieved notoriety for was 'Scatman's World', which consisted mostly of rapid-fire gibberish. Personally, I admired the bloke for having the audacity to refer to himself as 'Scatman'. Still makes me giggle. Tee hee.
