Red Pyramid Ice Lolly

I remember a red pyramid shaped ice lolly that had a distinctively soft texture. They were very sweet and melted almost as quick as a five year old could lick! I have seen a few other people asking the same question but no answers yet. Someone, somewhere must know what they were called. If they are still made I would pay a fortune to have one again. Happy days! p.s. They were only available off the "ice cream man".

I'm pretty sure this lolly was called "The Rocket" lolly, and was made by Rossi. It was discontinued as the process of producing it was far too difficult. It was replaced by a lolly shaped like a rocket, but the ice was not the same. There is a lolly out today that has the same texture as the pyramid. I loved this lolly and always remember it as the Rocket lolly. I only have memory of it being red. It was the best.

Yes. It was like a dark berry or raspberry flavour. And it had a unique cardboard wrapper that unclipped from one side and just peeled off in one piece.

I'm at my wits end trying to remember the name of this lolly. It wasn't a Jubbly because it was on a stick and I have a clear visual of what it looked like. And it made your lips red like you were wearing lipstick.

It was called Rocket Lolly. I'm 95% sure. I know there is a rocket lolly out today, but it must have stole the name and it is shaped like a rocket.
