Professor Balthazar

Croatian cartoon series made by animator Zlatko Grgic, that aired between '67 and '74 but was later repeated further on into the '70s.

Professor Bathazar was a kindly old scientist with a brilliant mind, who was able to solve people's various problems with his amazing inventions or chemical potions. The episodes were voiced-over in English; it was all innocent fun and very much a product of the hippie era of the late '60s and '70s. The opening credits had the Prof. hopping on screen in a diving bell with mechanical frog's legs and sprinkling a magic potion which changed the scene; the ending creds showed him driving on in a motorised bed on wheels and putting the light out, which was the end of each episode.
