Only Michael Bentine (ex Goon) could persuade the TV executives that "Potty Time" was the perfect name for a puppet show. Toilet humour aside, this show lived up to its crazy name. A typical "Potty" had his face hidden by hats or facial hair, and his legs hidden by the costume. The anarchic story lines were littered with typical Goon logic, and Potty Time became a cult classic, loved by adults and children alike.
