Maud Adams played Octopussy in this one- a superb actress, she unfortunately suffered from a number of health problems and is now semi-retired. Suzanne Jerome, who played one of her assistants Gwendoline, went on to work as a dancer and acrobat at the Alton Towers amusement park in Staffordshire. I bumped into her once when we visited there in '82, she was very sweet.

Airfield scenes at the start were shot at RAF Northolt, railway sequence shot at the Nene Valley Railway in Peterborough. Sorry if I've shattered anyone's illusions! P.S; the scenes in India WERE shot in India.
