Noel's House Party

Following the tragic end of The Late Late Breakfast Show, Noel Edmonds reappeared on the British TV screen with Noel's House Party. The show was good ol' family entertainment with a mix of jokes, gunge, Mr Blobby and hidden camera stunts such as The Gotchas and the brilliant NTV.

The show had a series of guest appearances every week from minor celebrities with some really awful jokes and sketches but Noel's House Party was probably the last of the great saturday evening family entertainment shows.

I think that noel was mr saturday night, along with everything he did was gold dust, and the bbc decision to axe it killed saturday night entertianment forever. Ok so it was cheesy, but it was great fun, watching celebraties, and normall people have a laugh and forget about life for an hour or so was cool. Bring this show back or make a simular formular, ant and dec try but will never be the same

I was utterly terrified that NTV would be in my house and would systematically scan around the ceiling for any cameras or bugs. It never happened. Mr Blobby was so ace when I was 7.
