FORCE WheatFlakes

Delicious crunchy malted flakes of toasted wheat completely unlike the soggy bland offering often offered by HealthFood suppliers as a claimed "near" alternative, except completely lacking the texture and flavour (theses suppliers won't use malt or sugar). It's a mystery to me why Nestle bought the rights and then simply shelved the product instead of spending a bit on advertising - it was so unlike anything else on the market that they could have carved out a nice little niche yet they didn't bother. Meanwhile we have a vast range of bland non-malted wheat, bran, rice and oat-based cereals.Die-hard fans would also have been fond of the archaic "Sunnny Jim" logo and associated marketing, including the deeply naff "Sunny Jim Rag Doll" which featured both legs unnaturally in line, one-behind-the-other, no distinct arms and a sinister grin - for kids back in the 20s I'm sure this must have provided many pico-seconds of fun. Nevertheless, I felt strangely compelled to acquire one in adulthood, if only for novelty value.
