Fingerless gloves

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

A strange fashion that seemed to take off during the 80's. Someone had the bright idea of cutting the tips of normal gloves off and using the remaining material as a fashion statement. Not very practical for keeping your fingers warm in the very cold weather.

I hate gloves so these were perfect I don't feel the cold and find gloves annoyed me for picking things up, I wear fingerless gloves now. I loved lace gloves as worn by Madonna and having very big hands for a woman the lace gloves in vintage shops never fitted me so I always cut them so I could wear them with my bangles and Gothy lacey look.

I have a pair of these. They are perfect for us computer programmers in cold winter nights. I can type very easily and my hands remain warm. Love em.

Of absolutely no practical use at all ! At least mittens covered the fingers.
