Fiddler on the Roof is a an amusing musical about a Russian, Jewish milkman with has three daughters, each needing a husband. The daughters are matched and sent on their way... or at least that is the plan.
This film analyzes the loosening ties religion has on a traditional family, as each daughter does things a little different.
Of course, being a musical, this is all interspersed with songs such as "If I were a Rich Man". All in all a good romp.
