Born in America in the late 1960's, Fern made various attempts to make successful music but to no great success.
She made a comeback after recording a disco version of "Groove Me" in 1979 which reached the top 100 UK charts, followed by "Together We Are Beautiful" in 1980 which reached number 1 in the UK.
There were no further solo success & by 1983, Fern had returned to being a backing vocalist.
