Dream Phone

In the board game 'Dream Phone' you would use the included pink phone to call cheesy looking American guys with a number starting '555-'. Someone may have given you a tip, something like "this guy doesn't eat pizza". So then you would have to eliminate all of the guys that didn't like pizza.

Some were blonde haired studs and some were skinny geeks. You used to ask them to go on a date with you, or find out who fancied you.

Haha! I found just the big pink phone at the thrift store and bought it for a dollar. Now, I'm trying to find numbers to dial? Anybody know?

Whenever my cousin and I would go to my aunt's and uncle's house, it's a tradition to play that game! And whenever we'd get a not-so-attractive guy, we'd be like, "EW I GOT PHIL" and it'd just be a joke with anyone of the guys. Bruce was the cutest, how could you not love him? Haha. That game always brings back good memories of when I was younger!

Damn it,I wanted to buy this game so badly. One time I found it at a local book store and wanted to beg my mum to buy it for me then suddenly before I had the guts to tell mum about the game, two girls took it right before my eyes,I was so heartbroken about not getting it always hoping for another copy to appear in toy stores.

This game went on my letter to Father Christmas every single year. I remember looking longingly at that picture of the box in the Argos catalogue each December... but I never got it, so have no experience of playing it. I feel like I missed out. D:

"I know who it is but i'm not telling. Ha-ha" how annoying was that! Brilliant game, they have released a modern version but something tells me it will never be the same :)

I liked to just hear what all of the guys would say. I was a bit too young to apreciate this one.

HAHAHA, I had some female friends at school and we used to play this right up until GCSE age. I thought it was hilarious. "He looks good in whatever he wears, but you wont see him wearing....................(big pause)..........................red" And the red bit would be in a really quiet voice and sound nothing like the guy talking to begin with! Happy days!
