Diver Dan

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Diver Dan stuck onto the side of the bath. Once the water filled up the bottom of the staircase Diver Dan dived into the bath. A small figure with blonde hair and blue trunks, Diver Dan came complete with a red boat. My nephew had this when he was about two so it was out roughly around 1992. I'm desperate to get one now for my son.

We have had a diver Dan since 1981. Now my grandsons get great fun within in the bath. The only problem is the suction pads on the back don,t work any more but we just stand it on a platform in the bath as it must be above water to work. Hours of fun have been had and it might last to another generation!

I had a diver dan boat with a crane that would let the had hat diver go underwater. The boat was a shade of yellow with a red deck and a fairly large cabin. Does anyone remember this. I had mine around 1957-62 dc1315@gmail.com

I would love to get one for my son. He is 27 years old and still talks about Diver Dan, he had one when he was a wee boy but it got lost when we moved house. Would appreciate any contacts where to get one.

Diver Dan was around long before 1992. We had one with a blue boat in 1987 (from Mothercare I think) and yes, the Frnch instructions for "Jo-Jo le Plongeur" caused much hilarity among the adults.

I bought one of these for my goddaughter. I remember the French instructions calling him Jo-Jo le Plongeur. A better name altogether I thought.
