Chariots of Fire (1981)

An uplifting and inspiring film not to mention an Oscar winner, so Hollywood agrees with me. Even the film score by Vangelis won an Oscar. It's a classic synthesized score, which seemed to be everywhere in the early 1980s, I guess because it had such passion.

I remember watching this at summer camp with a cousin's boyfriend. It is a serious film and I had already seen it once and loved it. This second time around though I giggled the entire way through it, sitting at the back of the camp hall eating ice-cream. It is a great memory to have as this fun guy then married my cousin and sadly since died really young, but I always remember his huge sense of fun and ability to have a good laugh.
