Beanbag Chairs were all the rage back in the 1970's. They were created in Italy in 1969 and almost overnight were a worldwide success. From Hippies in Volkswagen Vans to kids jumping on them in their rooms it seemed like everybody had a beanbag chair. Although there was a bean bag chair recall in the 90's, the safety hazards have been addressed and in the new Millennium beanbag chairs are back and are as big a craze as ever.
