Alien Nation was a movie - made to a tv show. A huge ship of very human looking aliens lands in California. They are escaped slaves and begin a life in LA. They dink sour milk to get drunk, Salt water melts them (So WHY LA? I'd be in Arizona).
It is an interesting play on forigeners/minorities comming to the US, taking jobs, and creating a life in a new country.
Matched a Human Cop Sikes (Gary Grahm) and Alien cop Francisco (Eric Pierpoint). The aliens had 2 hearts, were very strong, had 3 way sex to create kids, the Father carried and birthed the child (very Womans Lib).
Most aliens took on earth names of famous people. George Washington, Ben Franklin, etc). Good show masking issues with Sci Fi.
