  Grimly Feendish was another creation from the fertile mind of Leo Baxendale (The Bash Street Kids, Minnie the Minx, Little Plum etc.) He left D.C.Thomson, being dissatisfied that artists were uncredited (who's ever heard of Davey Law, Ken Reid and the like, creators of all our childhood memories?) Try and find a copy of 'A Very Funny Business' (Leo's autobiog) for the full story. Highly recommended!
