Wish World Kids

Wish World Kids were little dolls, about 2 inches tall, that came with playsets where an everyday item would turn into something fun. There was one with a bed that turned into a playground, for example.

One doll had curly bright neon yellow hair and her playset was a tub/shower that transformed into a pool. She wore a tiny pink bathing suit with little flowers on it.

I cant imagine a time with out the Wish World KIDS these toys held so much more for the imagination than many modern toys If you decide that your interested in them again you can always find them on ebay. I have recollected the Treats and Sweets refrigerator that I had when I was younger and I feel like a kid again now believe it or not my 6 year old plays with them LOL and he thinks their the best thing since Transformers. I loved all my Wish World Kids playsets and dolls! My sister and I had Shelby's Treats N Sweets Refrigerator, Kirsten's Sleep N Leap Bed, Rachel's Sponge N Plunge Bathtub, Claudia's File N Smile Desk, Jessie's Speed N Read Chair, and the Roll N Toll Clock. These playsets had so much imaginative play, and so much imaginative play value. I recently bought a 2007 Sweet Secrets Shopping Mall, hoping to recapture the magic of the Wish World Kids, but, alas! It just wasn't the same! For one thing, the WWK dolls were better painted, better made and better dressed. Their little outfits - jackets, trousers, dresses, etc - were exquisite! And each doll had her own "personality," not just her own playset. Oh, the memories! Toys like WWK made my childhood so much happier!

What a world of imaginative play! I loved my Wish World Kids dolls and playsets, my favourite being Shelby and the Treats N Sweets Refridgerator set. My sister's first set was Kirsten's Sleep N Leap Bed. We also had and played incessantly with Rachel's Sponge N Plunge bathtub, Claudia's File N Smile Desk, Jessie's Speed N Read chair, and the Roll N Toll Clock. We spent hours, days, weeks with our dolls and playsets!

I clicked on this as a whim as something in me recognised the name...I was given one of these by 'Father Xmas' at a holiday park & it was the bed that turned into a playground! I remember playing with it quite a bit, but years later I remember clearer finding bits of it in with my lego - weird.

I had the bathtub/shower that turned into a swimming pool. I also had the tv that turned into a game show, but my favorite was the refrigerator that turned into an ice cream parlor. My sister had the chair that turned into a car and the bed that turned into a playground. I remember playing with these for hours. I had them stored in my parents attic in hopes of sharing them with my children someday. However, a few months ago, my dad decided to do some spring cleaning and he threw them all away. I even had the boxes for them still! Oh, well. It took me the longest time to remember the name of the toys, but thanks to your web sight, I was able to recall. Thank you. I wish I still had them.
