Vauxhall Victor FD

I remember Victors and Ventoras from the days of travelling to school, on foot, with my mates, without the need of a 4x4! 10 years later I bought a Vauxhall Victor FD, then as years passed I had quite a few more. I finally controlled my obsession and settled on the three I have now. FDs were built between 1967 and 1972. If you remember Randall & Hopkirk (deceased) from the same era you'll have spotted Jeff Randall driving the streets of London and nearby in a white Victor with a cool 60's red interior! Sure, they rusted, but so did Jaguars and Rolls Royces. If you want style and a sense of cool you won't get that in a Vectra or a Hyundaicantpronounceit! Today they're as rare as Revrods and Raleigh Grifters!

Drive her and you feel trendsetter! This was the launch tag line for the FD Victor and it was a car that was closely copied three years later by Ford with their Mk3 Cortina.
