Up Periscope

Up Periscope was a naval battle game in which both players raced to get their merchant convoy across the board before their opponent torpedoed them. The double sided board stood vertically and had holes which the ships were pegged into. Along the bottom of the board was a periscope. Each turn, you moved your ships then selected a column on the board and looked through the periscope. If there was an enemy ship in view, you had to guess which row it was on and poke your torpedo through the hole on your side. If you guessed right (or counted the holes!) then their ship was blown off the map - literally. I played this one quite a lot.
