Toys TOYS

Fast Traxx

I'm not sure if this memory of Traxx is accurate, I had a toy, come game, when I was very young and it consisted of a small Jeep like vehicle with big plastik wheels which you atached to an ascending Track on stilts and watched it make it's way to the top. My vague memory is of it being predominantly red, as was the trak.

If this is not Traxx, can some one enlighten me as to the name of this toy I have described. I've never seen it anywhere since that time.

how about ----time traxx i think--4 wheel drive yellow and red big handle on top like a shifter---the wheels were about 4 inches wide---in one mode then u could make them push in---the tire was not solid and when it went in it got bigger---had incredable power came out about the time of the little 4 whell drive trucks---i got one for my boy---we could pull 10 of the other trucks hooked together---then divorce and it got take and i have never seen one again and have never seen any thing with power like that----it could also take a heavey wooden chair setting on carpet and pull it---and when the chair turned over it went faster with it

I also had one when I was younger. it was awesome. Any idea of the creator? The company that made it? Might be a way to find out more info about it. I'd like another one myself and be able to give as gifts! Mine had a trailor that plugged in and dumped on command as programmed. Marilyn

Yeah Traxx was awesome. It was a grey tank looking toy exactly as described by sbeall. On this page on the left I saw a small avatar of one but it doesn't link anywhere. I can't find a good picture or find one anywhere with Google.

The Traxx I remember having is the one shown for the toys link. It was a six-wheel, futuristic, military vehicle with a keypad on top used for keying in commands for directions. You would basically program a map for it to follow and when it got there you could have it fire it's laser gun. I'm looking for a used one actually, but they're hard to find.
