Tizer was a soft drink, I think it was orange or red, and as a kid, it was one of my favourite fizzy drinks. I tried it again when I was in my 30s, for the first time in many years, and didn't get past the first mouthful. Strange how sometimes we love a flavour as a kid but find it revolting as an adult. What on earth was that taste supposed to be?

    Finally found a place to buy Tizer in Canada around 2006. It tasted great, just as I remembered it as a kid. My joy was shortlived, however, because after that they changed the recipe and now it's terrible. Flavour police caught up to them, eh?

    The current day counterpart just doesn't taste the same! Had it recently and it was actually quite awful, obviously because the original flavouring has been outlawed!!!

    Confirming what you said, Haizum - That was indeed the jingle they used in the TV commercial!

    'You can tell its Tizer when your eyes are shut' I really hope that that was part of the jingle and not something I made up as a kid. Anyone???

    Tizer is still available from many places, I have bought some not long ago to bring back some memories, I think it says fruit flavoured on it but it beats me as to what fruit or combination it is supposed to be, lol.
