Shakespears Sister

Shakespears Sister were a female duo comprising Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit, which had formed in the latter part of 1988. Both members had previous singing experience; Fahey in the group Bananarama and Detroit singing backup vocals for Eric Clapton.

After a not so sucessful first release, Shakespears sister had sucess with their other releases, including songs from their following album, such as "I Don't Care" and "Stay". The group disbanded in 1992.
