Rockin' Roller Crisps

This Memory is looking a little short on nostalgia! Have you got anything you could add?

Nobody in scotland seem to remember Rockin' Roller Crisps. I can remember buying them as a child in the 70's. They had a picture of a guy playing a guitar on the front of the packet. My favourite flavour was salt and vinegar.

I was a kid in the seventies and i remember the advert; vaguely. I somehow thought they sang "rock, rock, rock, rocknrollers, bet you're gonna wonder how they're called rocknrollers." lol! Now I know the correct lyrics , i can annoy my younger partner - who has no recollection of them - along with other seventies adverts which seem to be lost in time.

I've managed to find the old Rock n Rollers theme tune flexidisc and it actually still plays! Not sure if anyones interested in me recording it. And if so, where should I upload it to?

I actually had a flexidisc of the song which was sent to me when I joined the Rock n Rollers fan club. I drew a copy of the poster and put the lyrics underneath for parents evening when I was in Junior School. A classmate thought it would be funny to change the lyrics from "Rock n Rollers" to "Rotting Rubbish". I can see the funny side now, 36 years later!

They were called Rock ’n’ Rollers. They were shell shaped. I tried to set upa wikipedia page on them but they deleted it as there was nothing about them on the internet. They were aailable in England too, you know! 1970shttp://www.headington.org.uk/adverts/chocolate_sweets.htm
